Award-winning welding equipment and supplies distributor, Rapid Welding, is looking for a Senior
Marketing Manager to join the team to continue the rapid growth and development of this
multi-national business.
This is a full-time role and ideal for someone with previous marketing manager experience, looking for
a more senior role with greater responsibility and scope to build on their existing expertise.
Prior knowledge of the welding sector is preferable but by no means essential. More important to us is
that the successful candidate is an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, who is a good
communicator, with great organisational and project management skills.
The role will involve overseeing the company’s marketing, whilst co-ordinating with our existing
marketing agency to develop and deliver effective marketing campaigns that drive business growth.
The role will involve a variety of marketing tasks, including:
• Working with both internal and external teams to set a marketing strategy
• Managing website content and brand continuity
• Shaping and help delivering a social media plan
• Capturing imagery & video content
• Overseeing SEO on the website
• Co-ordinating email marketing campaigns
• Driving brand awareness and sales through the delivery of specific marketing campaigns
• Collecting and interpreting analytics across digital platforms to optimise marketing strategy & campaigns
• Staying abreast of industry trends
• Co-ordinating and managing inhouse events
Applicants are required to have:
• A working knowledge of a mainstream image editing tool
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• An analytical mind
The starting salary is £38,000 per annum.
Other benefits include: a company pension and 28 days paid holiday a year, including bank holidays.
Working hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Thursday, 8:30am - 4pm, Friday. Includes 1 hour unpaid for lunch.
The job will be based out of our Portchester, Hampshire office.
Own transport and a valid driving license are necessary.
